Members of Cascade Woodturners Association enjoy making all kinds of different objects using a lathe.  The pictures above show work sent in by some of those members for our "show and tell" sessions. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, January 15th.  Steve Newberry, our twisted and talented President, will be demonstrating how to turn a twisted, three-sided box.

Hello turners-to-be or fellow turners.  Welcome to Cascade Woodturners, serving Portland and the surrounding area.  We hope you'll join us.  As a member, in addition to monthly live meetings and demos, you will have access to valuable online content, including:

We always look forward to meeting new members, from beginners to experienced turners.  Even if you are geographically removed, as a member you can participate virtually with our live meetings and live Show and Tells, as well as get our monthly newsletter.

When Cascade Woodturners meets in person it normally meets at the Wild Lilac Child Development Center, which is located at 3829 SE 74th Avenue, Portland, Oregon.  

Meetings are normally held on the third Thursday of each month except December.

Cascade Woodturners Association is an Oregon nonprofit organization that is qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Cascade is devoted to educating woodturners and the public about the art and craft of woodturning.  We have monthly meetings with demonstrations of woodturning and related skills, and provide members with a monthly newsletter, access to a lending library, a store with woodturning supplies, a raffle of turnable wood, and discounts on purchases at selected purveyors of woodturning tools and supplies.  For more about Cascade click here.
